Keto-friendly one bowl air fryer poutine recipe. 5 minute prep time, and only one bowl to clean!

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 - 2 cups Rutabaga sliced into french fries (Approximately 1 small rutabaga, or half of 1 large rutabaga)
  • 1.5 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 0.5 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 60 grams Cheese Curds
  • 1/4 cup Poutine Gravy (I'm lazy so I just use a canned poutine gravy)

Instructions
 

  • Peel your rutabaga and cut into fries. One small rutabaga or half of a large rutabaga will yield approximately 1.5 - 2 cups of rutabaga french fries.
  • Mix rutabaga fries, olive oil, onion powder, salt, pepper and paprika in a bowl, and mix to coat fries well. Place the coated fries into your air fryer.
    Pro-tip for lazy cooks: if you have a stainless steel bowl that fits inside of your air fryer, use this bowl, and place the entire bowl containing the coated fries into the air fryer. This will make this a one-bowl recipe saving you the hassle of having to wash your air fryer afterwards.
  • Set your air fryer to 370F and run it for 12 minutes.
  • After 12 minutes, turn your fries, and set them back in the air fryer for another 10 minutes at 370F
  • After 10 minutes, your fries are done! If you're using the one-bowl method, place your cheese curds directly over the fries in your stainless steel bowl and drizzle gravy over your fries and cheese. Place back into the air fryer at 260F for 3 minutes to melt the cheese and heat up the gravy.
    If you're not using the one-bowl method, you can take the fries out of the air fryer and place them on an oven-safe plate, then place the cheese and gravy over top, and place in oven at 260F for 5-10 minutes to melt the cheese and heat up the gravy.
